Puppy training is often misunderstood.
Many families think puppy training is mainly about obedience: sit, down, stay, leash walking, and basic commands. Those skills matter, but they are only one part of raising a well-rounded dog.
Puppies are developing physically, emotionally, socially, and mentally at a rapid pace. During this time, they are learning what is safe, how to respond to the world, how to interact with people and dogs, how to settle, how to communicate, and how to build trust with their family.

Connected Puppy Path™ offers two individualized learning experiences based on your puppy's stage of development.
HomeSchool™
Recommended for puppies 8–16 weeks of age
During your puppy's earliest developmental stages, learning happens best in the comfort and familiarity of home. HomeSchool™ provides one-on-one coaching for both puppies and their families, focusing on confidence, communication, household success, and developmentally appropriate learning before transitioning into a structured training environment.
Day School™
Recommended after your puppy has completed core vaccinations
Once puppies are ready, Day School™ expands their education through carefully planned social experiences, real-world exposure, enrichment, and individualized training. Puppies continue developing the skills introduced in HomeSchool™ while working toward the AKC STAR Puppy title.

Socialization is not just meeting other dogs. It includes positive exposure to people, sounds, surfaces, environments, handling, movement, and everyday life.
Household Skills
We support routines around potty training, crate training, chewing, biting, greetings, rest, and daily structure.
Emotional Regulation
One of the most important skills a puppy can learn is how to settle. We help puppies begin developing an “off switch” so they can relax when life slows down.
Foundation Behaviors
Your puppy will begin learning early obedience skills such as name recognition, recall foundations, leash introduction, attention, and simple manners.
Exposure
We help puppies experience the world in a developmentally appropriate way so they are better prepared for new environments, people, sounds, and situations.
