In 2016, Sara started running a luxury facility in Overland Park, KS. This facility was designed to provide the utmost luxury with an array of add-on services. But what would happen if these services were not purchased? The dogs would get one let out in the AM and one in the PM. What about daycare? That must have been nice, right? Well, there could be any # of dogs in a playgroup, with different personalities, breeds, drives, etc.
After a few days of observation, Sara flipped the entire operations of the facility. She first implemented an all-inclusive model where the rate was the rate and it included all of the "add-ons". Next, she implemented behavior testing, training staff on behavior, increased enrichment exercises, and even established programs for the dogs that couldn't go into play groups due to aggression, medical, or age. After several years of success, the facility and its business model were purchased by a high-end corporation, which still uses Sara's business model today...
What does this have to do with the Logo? It is a recreation of a photo of Sara and her dog Nala. Nala is deaf and blind. When Sara relocated to AZ she had to board Nala at a facility that wasn't operating well and Nala was attacked. After that, Sara started on the quest to recreate what she had successfully done in KS. Connected Canine, a heart at the center of everything.
